- I'm originally from Germany, architect, learned to sail on 420 dinghies at university sports. I raced as crew on dinghies, keel boats and smaller yachts on amateur level and chartered / skippered yachts on the Baltic Sea and the Chesapeake Bay. In 2015 I joined a crew of Sonar racers in Port Washington for weekend races and sailed on the Lower Bay and the Hudson River on a 30 ft yacht. I'd love to join crews near the city for the weekends or weekday evenings.
